How To Start CrossFit St. Louis

CrossFit Newbies

We believe strongly that proper education helps to maximize each athlete’s CrossFit experience. Before newcomers join classes, we ensure that they are prepared by offering a free “Intro” class, followed by an On-Ramp, 6-session coaching series on the basic movements we employ in classes. These 6 sessions always conclude with a workout of the day (WOD) to challenge you as you get comfortable with CrossFit training. On-Ramp is $99 for the 6 session training classes. On-Ramp's are offered at two different times: Monday/Tuesday/Thursday at 6:30 p.m. or Tuesday/Wednesday/Friday at 6:00 a.m. When signing up for the two week session try to stay in order of the classes to complete all six classes within a two week period.

CrossFit+Row

Each class begins with technique oriented drills, followed by stretching and then the WOD. We try to change it up each class so the WOD's stay fresh. We play around with the monitor and vary our intervals, stroke rate, and units of measurement (watts, calories and meters), so the possibilities are infinite. Come join Leeny and her "crew" of nooners and give this class a try. Registration is a must so we can ensure everyone has a rower.

Visitors - Out of Town Drop Ins

We love to have out of towners come and visit. It’s great to know that you are coming in advance, so please call ahead or register for class online. Out of towners receive a special rate of $15 for drop in classes. This can be paid in advance online by registering through our MindBody website, or you can drop in with cash, check or credit card the date of your visit.

  • Police | Fire | Military | Teacher - 15%
  • Spouse | Partner - 10%
  • Family (3 or more in the same family) - 25%
  • Student - 10%

We will also provide a 5% referral discount for every verified referral. You keep the discount as long as the referral remains a CrossFit St. Louis Monthly Member. There is no limit to the 5% discounts you may receive.

Notes on Memberships:

  • All memberships auto-renew monthly.
  • You may cancel renewals at any time.
  • 10 Class Punch cards renew bi-monthly or after 10 visits are used, whichever comes first.
  • Though memberships auto-renew, you may cancel at anytime. There is no contract period.

Typically, we would like to visit with experienced CrossFit athletes before you join. This gives us an opportunity to explain our membership packages, discount programs and to get a gauge of your fitness so that our coaches can offer the right kind of support in classes.

Why such an investment of your time to get started?

We want to make certain that you understand CrossFit, its benefits and your own fitness level before you commit to membership. We sincerely believe that if you aren’t interested in giving CrossFit 3-months to prove its value, you won’t be successful, so please, only become a member if you have at least this duration of time to invest in the sport of fitness.
